We have Lync 2013 single edge with two nics one for the internal dmz and the other one to talk to the ouside world with 3 ip addresses.

My question is _xmpp-server._tcp ..should point to which interface the internal or external one?

Thank you

Hi Amnhtech,

The _xmpp-server._tcp should point to your sip.domain.com but on a different port.  the default port for xmpp federation on Lync is 5269. you need to open this port on the External NIC on Edge and enable it on the firewall for IP bind with the sip.domain.com.
