Exchange 2007 DSN for Successful delivery after failure

Is there a way to configure Exchange 2007 to notify the sender that a message was successfully delivered after a failure/delay previously occurred?

No such way apart from you requesting "Deliver and Read receipts" or only if there is a Undeliverable from Server ?
