Server 2012 Branch Cache - 1 main DC and 3 branch sites, thoughts needed

Hi All

We are setting up a vanilla Server 2012 AD domain for about 800 user base, the main DC's, Exchange servers and clustered file server will be located in a Datacentre.

We have 3 offices that will be connected via private WAN links, (links will likely be 100Mb)

I was looking at the idea of using Branch Cache Servers on the Local sites, is it possible to have 3 Branch Cache servers caching data from one file server

Ha sanybody implimented this that has and feedback, positive or negative

Disclaimer: I have never personally implemented BranchCache.  That being said, yes, you can certainly have multiple servers configured as hosted cache servers at your branch sites.  They must be running either Server 2012, 2008 R2 Datacenter, or 2008 R2 Enterprise; 2008 R2 Standard cannot be used in that role.  Also, your clients have to be running either Win7 (Enterprise or Ultimate) or Win8 (Pro or Enterprise) to take advantage of BranchCache.

This page is a good starting place for learning all about BranchCache.
