Google Docs Spreadsheet ?

I have created a spread sheet that looks something like the below:

Date  Qty  $
xxx      3    6

Total         6

How can I configure the sheet so that when I put in 1,2,3 or whatever in the qty column the $ colum knows that 1 = $2?

Put this formula into cell C2:

=B2*2

and copy down as far as needed.
