I am trying to write a report selecting records based on the criteria that if {Job_Operation.Operation_Service} is = "Saw" then show the following work center/operation  for that job which will include other work centers then just "SAW".   For example Job 123-1 is Saw and Form so I want the report so show both.  Job 123-2 is Laser and Form so I  don't want it to show on the report at all.  Basically it is suppose to show all jobs going through the saw and what the next work center is.  Sorry this is confusing!  Thanks for you help if you were able to follow me :)

You will have to build a query in the database, use a command, or use suppression of the groups you don't want.

Command will be something like
SELECT your list of fields
FROM Your Tables
WHERE  RecordIDField IN (SELECT RecordIdFIeld FROM Job_Operation WHERE Job_Operation.Operation_Service = "Saw")

You can also use group selection or suppression

Create a formula
Name - HasSaw
If {Job_Operation.Operation_Service} = "Saw" then
     1
Else
     0

Your Group Selection will be
Sum({@HasSaw},{JobGroupField}) >= 1)

You can suppress the group header/footer and details conditionally
Sum({@HasSaw},{JobGroupField}) = 0

I have my group set up by job number.  I have placed the "HasSaw" formula in the group footer but formula is always giving me a zero return even if the group has "Saw" operations.
