Quick way to send reminder to person to whom task is assigned

hi Folks
Quick question - if I assign a task to someone, is there any way to set up an automatic reminder in Outlook for me to check on them i.e. if they haven't confirmed that they have completed it in two weeks, that I get an automatic prompt ..or are they now the owner of the task?

Hi,

You can apply following steps:
Open the task Click to set reminder

Select Reminder check box. Go to setting a reminder, enter a date and time.
