SharePoint 2013 Configure App Fabric Manually

I'm installing SharePoint 2013 on an isolated network -- the prereq checker can't go out to the web and install the prereq and therefore I can't use it to configure app fabric.

i downloaded all the prereq's and installed them, even app fabric installed fine, when i run sharepoint setup says the appfabric isn't configured correctly and use the prereq installer to configure it --

is there a way i can get around this by manually configuring app fabric, or when i remove app fabric does it leave some tenticles out there that i need to be aware of and remove?
