Outlook 2010 / Problem with delted contact files

I do have a significant problem with a MS Outlook 2010 on one of my customers.
Every so often he gets plenty, between 30 and 50, of his own Outlook contacts (.vcf files) in his deleted Folder in Outlook, just like this. No errors are reported in Outlook or Exchange logs.

The Outlook client is connected to Exchange Server in the LAN (all of it 2010). The user syncs his Exchange MB with iPhone and iPad. No iTunes or something like that.

Thx for help in advance.

Greetings,
Patrick

Hope no Rules or Auto archiving on the Client (Outlook end)
What MRM or retention policy do we have on Exchange end ?
If this happens on a particular day why not stop sync for a couple of days and see if its due to ActiveSync or Outlook\Exchange ?

Hello Rancy,

thanks for your input, we do not have any policys, except the Default ones, enabled on Exchange site. What makes me wondering is that out of 5 iOS user only has the Problem. We will disable the sync on the iOS devices and see what happens.
