I cant open Openoffice. How do I fix this problem?

The window tells me . . .

Either another instance of OpenOffice.org is accessing your personal settings or your personal settings are locked.
Simultaneous access can lead to inconsistencies in your personal settings.
Before continuing, you should make sure usre 'macuser' closes OpenPffice.org on host 'mac-users-macbook-pro15.local'.
Do you really want to continue
yes  no

Twice this evening I have tried to download . . .
 http://openoffice.mirrorbrain.org/files/stable/3.3.0 OOo_3.3.0_MacOS_x86_install_en-US.dmg

I get this message:

It is working for you because you have something that I dont.
Is there something extra I need to make this download for me?
Is it compatible with Safari?

Looks like it is  trying to download it from a different mirror location, probably because of the country or area you located in.

Try http://openoffice.mirror.rafal.ca/stable/3.3.0/OOo_3.3.0_MacOS_x86_install_en-US.dmg

Drag Open Office to the Applications folder. Then double click on the copy in the applications folder to open it.
