Activating the Web Console on a Cisco 3560 switch

I have a Cisco 3560 switch that used to have a wonderful Web Console interface until the config was changed.  Can you tell me how to get that Web Console interface back?

connect to the command line and enter:

enable
conf t
ip http server
ip http secure-server
ip http authentication local

That should enable web access using the local router creds to log in

Thanks for the quick response.  I have entered the ip commands but still when I use internet explorer to log into the Cisco 3560 switch I get this page:

Accessing Cisco WS-C3560-24TS "Switch"
Show diagnostic log - display the diagnostic log.
Monitor the router - HTML access to the command line interface at level 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15

Show tech-support - display information commonly needed by tech support.
Extended Ping - Send extended ping commands.

Web Console - Manage the Switch through the web interface.


Then when I try to double click the "Web Console" item I get:


The webpage cannot be found       HTTP 404
 

This error (HTTP 404 Not Found) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but the page you wanted was not found. It's possible that the webpage is temporarily unavailable. Alternatively, the website might have changed or removed the webpage.

Any suggestions as to how I can get to the Web Console?

then whats happened is that you are missing the software module for management. I am assuming that sometime between when you could access it and now cant, the IOS of the switch has either been upgraded or factory restored. The issue is, is that the web management software is actually part of the IOS flash, but you have to specifically choose the update that contains the web management module.

Basically, to get it back, you need to flash the IOS on the switch with an update that contains the web management feature..
