Measuring Outgoing email on an Exchange 2003 Server

I need to find out the volume (number of messages and size of messages) that were sent from our Exchange 2003 Server for the past month.  Does anyone know of a way to do this?

It is Exchange 2003 running on Windows 2003 R2 Server
