I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Why dont you simply have a PST created in network share and then have a rule to move these emails to that PST.

So are you looking that some program or something can directly have the email as .MSG to some location ?

In that case, you need to purchase the paid version for this product.

what version of exchange are you using ? recent ones dont allow access via ExOLEDB which is what I used to use with VBS.

Now use C# for EX2008 but powershell will work for that i understand (not my strong point).

i get a lot of ideas from Glen Scales  http://gsexdev.blogspot.com

this goes some way.. http://gsexdev.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/removing-attachments-of-specific-type.html in that it finds PDF files and save them.
