I cant create a new folder from the desktop anymore and suddenly I can create briefcase's

For some strange reason I cant create a new folder from the desktop anymore when I do the right mouse click or even when I am in a MS document the 'new folder option is there, bu tdoes nothing and suddenly I can create briefcase's..

Follow the procedure outlined by the Moderator (Linda Yan).

Note: When running the REG file, you may get an error message saying something along the lines of "key cannot be written because affected processes are being used." Just ignore and close the message.

BTW, I use this procedure without a hitch on a Windows 7 machine less than a week ago. Worked like a charm.
