I have been informed that Rod Divilbiss passed away Tuesday. His obituary is here.

Thanks for posting this Jim.  Rod And I competed for many years in the webdev topics and he helped me through some rough times back in the ERT days.

My deepest condolences to his family. He was a great teacher here at EE and a fine fellow. He will be missed. He is also being honored over at the lounge, if anyone cares to visit, as he was well loved there as well.

We only brushed shoulders in the TAs briefly before he stopped posting, but I remember him as a courteous and competent expert. He will be missed!
