Blue Tooth in Car Keeps Disconnecting

I have an iPhone V with 6.something IOS.  My stereo is an Axxess with blue tooth.  What happens is I will associate the phone and the car stereo with Blue Tooth.  Then I make a call and get talking to someone.  Then maybe 5, 10, 15 minutes later the sound will go away.
Looking at my phone (I know shouldn't do it in the car)..I see the call is still connected.  In fact if I hit Speaker I can continue the call only with the poorer sound quality for both parties with the car stereo out of the picture.  If I reboot the car stereo I can get the call back to the stereo with blue tooth.  Anyhow - does anyone have any advice?  Is it an iPhone problem?  A car stereo problem?  Something else??

It certainly sounds like a car stereo problem however if you want to be more confident try pairing your iphone with another bluetooth device and see if the same problem occurs.

I've personally had lots of issues with car stereo's and various versions of bluetooth and in all events it was a bug in the car stereo software.

Last, check with the car manufacturer if they have a software update for the car stereo.

Good luck
