schedule irregular appointments in Calendar app

I have the exact same appointment at the exact same time on random days.  There is no recurrence as in always on Mondays and Thursdays of each week.  Each week is different meaning the appt can be at 6 on Monday and Wednesday week 1 and then at 6 on Wednesday the next week and then at 6 on Tuesday and Friday the next week, etc....

I have looked at Outlook and google calendar and haven't found any way to set and appointment then just pick the dates on which I want to schedule the appointments.

Obviously I posted this in outlook and if outlook doesn't do what I am asking then perhaps another calendaring application can be suggested?

There is no way to schedule irregular appointment in Outlook using "Recurrence". I have that situation and what I do is "Copy" the appointment and then go to next time, "Paste" the appointment and then I do that for as many appointments as I have like that (usually 6 or seven such irregular recurrences).

yeah I have found that to be the only solution but it gets really old when I have to paste the same appt 50-70 times

The normal maximum for me is about a dozen and I can do this in a couple of minutes because the Paste is active (no additional copy required) as long as you are still "pasting".

I agree 70 times would get repetitive but I only take my client calendar out 7 or 8 months at a time.

That is the only solution available in Outlook (and indeed in any other calendar I have looked at - Thunderbird, iPhone and one web mail calendar). Outlook (2013) is so much better than the rest that I stick with the above method.

@cmkeur - Thank you for closing the question. I, too, wish there were a better way for this.
