hi
We have 2008 domain controller and ADC for user authentication. few days back the ADC server crashed, but we bring back the server by restoring backup. after that ADC is not functioning and not replicating with domain controller. so I decided to recreate the ADC freshly. can you plz tell me the procedure to do it freshly and before creating the ADC freshly if we need to remove anything from domain controller.

to recreate ADC freshly shall we just need to remove domain from ADC server and run dcpromo?

By ADC are you talking about an Active Directory Connector?  or something else?  I'm hoping you're talking about something else because as far as I know an ADC is just a replication connector that really has nothing to do with user authentication.
