On the HP Gen 8 quick specs, my current setup is recommended settings. I guess Gen 8 the only way for the both cage to control by 1 raid controller is by getting the 25 slot backplane as suggested by andyyalder.

I have a DL380Gen 8 with 2 SFF hard drive cage. The current setting is cage 1 is control by HP P420 controller and cage 2 is control by the embedded P420i.<br />

Currently my management wants hard drive from both cage to be control by 1 controller. <br />
<br />
Could it be done by HP HBA adapter or what is the best way to achieve this?
