Exchange counters

Hi Experts,

I'm receiving the following from one of our Exchange platforms we are monitoring. I'm having trouble getting the information from the server. I can pull this information from powershell just fine and also view the counters on through perfmon.

Error: ExchangeSRV : Performance counter could not be retrieved
Long Description:  The following performance counter could not be retrieved from the computer: MSExchange Replication / CopyQueueLength / _total.

Exception calling "NextValue" with "0" argument(s): "Access is denied"

We have a monitoring agent named NetIQ installed, but it's logged in a LOCAL SYSTEM, so would assume it has access.

Oh and it only seems like the MSExchange Replication counters are failing.

Any ideas?

Are you accessing these directly from an Exchange server or via a different server with a NetIQ agent installed?

If you can access the data via Perfmon, and the NetIQ agent (on the same server) cannot - then get NetIQ support to help resolve the issue.

Active node of cluster is currently not alerting, so this hasn't been a problem for awhile. Sorry about the lack of updates.

I'm accessing them directly from an Exchange server. Once the server becomes active again, I'll get NetIQ support on the case. Thanks.
