Hi,

I have a problem with SCCM 2012 SP1. This is my environment:

VMWARE 5.1
Windows Server 2012
Microsoft SQL 2012
SCCM 2012 SP1

When i deploy an operating system, i get the following error when deploying the configuration manager client:

Failed to configure OSD setup hook (0x80091007)

I have read a couple or items on the internet and some of them tell me to re-deploy the package, re-create the package, change the NIC type in vmware from E1000 to another type. None of these seem to work.

I have attached the log file with the errors in.

Regards,

Scott

This link says to

============
choose “Access content directly from a distribution point when needed by the running task sequence”

http://www.itexperience.net/2010/08/18/error-code-0x80091007-during-task-sequence/
==============================

Please check if that works for you.

try to update the Packages on your DP. Maybe a hash problem

This problem has been fixed.

It turned out that the virtual network card on the System Center Server was set to E1000E. I had to change this to VMXNET3.

When the network card was set to E1000E somehow the hash value of the Configuration Manager Client was being changed and thus the OSD was failing.

Worked with Microsoft to identify the issue.
