Geographical Reporting in Crystal Reports

Hi,

I am in the UK and have a table which contains post codes, and town names. I would ideally like to plot the volume of A on the map, and then overlay the volume of B.

I have plotted the volume of A, however, I can see it is not a complete picture. When I go to Resolve Mismatch I can see that lots of places have not been plotted, and the selection of Crystal towns/cities is far from complete.

I do have post codes though, but I do not seem to have any better luck with these.

I have many questions..
Is there a way to update the crystal list of towns/cities to plot my data against?

Once I have done so, is it possible to layer a second map over the first? I see Layers as an option, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I click it.

My data is a table pulled from multiple sources in our SQL MS. Would it be better to create a new column in the warehouse, one which crystal would find easier to work with, and if so, what and how? I always thought latitude and longitude references were preferred.

Perhaps crystal reports isn't the best suited for this sort of reporting. If not, what tools would you suggest I look at instead?

Thanks for your help

Anybody else have anything to offer?

I am surprised that Crystal is unable to map against places like "Cardiff"
What do you mean unable to map against Cardiff?

Did you purchase the additional maps for that area?
