We import data from a sql anywhere database and everything looks great.
But when i use the refresh button to update the data i get error messege "Data source name not found , no default driver specified" ??

I can refresh the data by selecting the odbc connection to the database that apperas after clicking ok to the error messege.

We need this to work properly,

What version of Excel are you using?  How is the data imported?  Can you post a sample worksheet?  We really need more information.

In Excel 2010 (or the like) if you click on the Data Ribbon and then click existing connections, does anything show in the existing workbork?  If so, double click on the existing connection and then click on properties.  Click on definition and make sure that all settings are correct.

Was the solution given by ITlbearand3 solved the problem?  If not, How did you solve the problem?  I have the same problem.

Nevermind - I saw the problem.  ITlbearand3 was right, The connections file was sitting on somebody else computer.   Thank You!!!!
