display contents in child window

i have a parent form and a child form. i have the file open working on the parent form, but i cant show the file contents in the child window that i open.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i have attached the two class files.

I copied your  GetRichTextBox() method and code to create a child form  - "openToolStripMenuItem_Click_1. It works fine.

The only problem for me - it does not like txt files, it opens only rtf files. I didn't investigate the problem.
