getting a display value from a given id in combobox in vb.net

I have a combobox  populated with titlename and title id.    its displaymember set to  titlename  and  valuemember set to title id.

now at runtime  i am getting title id from db and i want to have corresponding  title name to be displayed in the combobox.

can somebody suggest on how to do it in vb.net

You should be able to do combobox.selectedvalue = your_value
