Crystal Report from Visual Studio 2012 Parameter Passing

Hello experts,

I used Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate to frame up a crystal report that I built using Crystal Reports XI.  It frames up nicely and I have no issues, but now I need to launch this executable from a program that has a current person_id already looked up.  I need to feed that person_id to my report.

I believe the program I use has the following DLLs that harvest the person_id:

I searched by word patient have methods in these dlls:
NextGen.Shared.ReportServer.dll

Also found 1 lib contains info with patient id
NextGen.Shared.ReportLibrary.adll   method XMLPatientID(String&) : String

body method:
contains
   string str = "select Distinct " + sDemogrTempTable + ".person_id,first_name,last_name from ";


I need to be able to take the above dll string and pass that current person_id to the crystal report parameter that I have built {?person_id}.

Not sure where to start.  I have attached the code view of my report (cs code).  cs-code.txt.

Thoughts?

I built a parameter in Crystal, so it shows up in the Field Explorer - is that what you mean?  Thanks!
