UAC blocking Lync remote support
I would like to use Lync for remote support on our LAN.
When installing program on remote PC UAC pops up window for administrator credentials.
THe Lync session for administrator goes blank and can not see the UAC window. IN order to get control back we have to ask user to cancel UAC popup.
We can not turn off UAC.
I search around and found the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Softwar e\Microsof t\Windows\ CurrentVer sion\Polic ies\System
Changed the following regword
EnableUIADesktopToggle to 1
EnableSecureUIAPaths to 0
This did not help.
Ran dcomcnfg.exe
Component Services\Computers\My Computer\DCOM Config\RAServer\
Properties and Security tab and added Domain Users to Full control.
Rebooted PC on both and no luck Lync session still disabled during UAC popup.
