is there a way to have two ckeditors textarea on the same page with two different widths

textarea1 width="500px"
textarea2 width="200px"

You have a good solution only the buttons seems some boring. Ckeditor provide you 100% width that's why you can wrap textarea1 to a div and textarea2 to another div like:

.small{
	width:200px;
}
.big{
	width:500px;
}

Now wrap the text area in div like:

 <div class="small">
			<textarea class="ckeditor" id="editor1" name="editor1" cols="100" rows="10">&lt;p&gt;This is some &lt;strong&gt;sample text&lt;/strong&gt;. You are using &lt;a href="http://ckeditor.com/"&gt;CKEditor&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;</textarea>
            </div>
<div class="big">
            <textarea class="ckeditor" id="editor1" name="editor1" cols="100" rows="10"></textarea>
</div>
