I have copied a share-point site called London Marketing Data to Bridge Marketing Data as the second company wanted the same database format .

Everything is working just fine apart from a link to Reports.

When this link is selected it produces a page that details information from the original London database and I cannot for the life of me see how to change the select, cannot even find the select .

how do you copied the site, how  the database format came in the picture. why dont you try to recreate the Report Link that you have in previous site.
when copying a SharePoint site to another the links has to be corrected if they are not relative links.
