is there a way take fields in my report, figure out the Len() of them, then add them all to gether to get the total number of characters for those fields.

For Example:
len(trade.settle) + len(trade.maturity) + len(trade.days) +len (trade.name) + len(trade.address) + etc = total characters

Exactly like that

Create a formula
Name - TotalLength
Length({Trade.Settle}) + Length({trade.maturity}) + Length({trade.days}) + ...

it worked...I was trying to use the function len() instead of length().  Thanks!
