Is there anyway to make the Chrome scroll bar on a Mac wider so it's easier to grab with the mouse?

For months now, I keep moving my Chrome window by accident instead of scrolling the page because I click on the wrong part of the browser window.  With my latest OS upgrade to 10.7.5, the darn scroll bars are too skinny for me.  

Please know found the setting to display scroll bars always & I have set that so I can always see them; but they are just too skinny now.

Hasn't anyone created a utility to customize the scroll bar width or add the arrows back to the top & bottom?
