Route tracking / Mapping streets/businesses we've been to

I'm looking for a program like the popular running apps that are out that track how far you run in a session, how long it took you, etc... however I want to be able to record roads/streets we've been on and begin mapping out where we've solicited our services. Plus, if possible, I want to be able to record what businesses we hit on each street (if that's asking too much, that's fine for now). We really just want to be able to build up a map of where we've been, when we were there last, etc... oh and free if possible :)

Google Maps or build KML maps via Google Earth.

Hope this helps.
