Equipment Resources for Exchange 2010

I must be doing something wrong or missing some steps, but I need to figure out how to properly configure a resource on the exchange 2010.

What I've done so far, created a new Equipment Mailbox, added equipment to Resources General and have set delegate rights to a user. Eventually I will add the whole company.

My problem is, I cant seem to make the equipment resources available for me to select when creating a new Calendar event.

Any help will do, thxs.

So you created the Equipment Mailbox and hope it isnt Hidden from GAL

Also it takes time to show in Outlook due to OAB generation so check with OWA\Webmail.

When creating a new calendar event, I figured I'd be able to select one of these items listed below in the image.  User generated image

I've done the part about adding the Additional Properties to Resource Mailboxes but when I go search for it under Show Names from the: All Rooms, it's blank
