Hello,

I would like to create an applet, if the user authorize it, the applet will scan for the USB ports and find connected tokens to sign the login and complete the auth process.

I searched about it at google, but only find how to create the applet, but not how to provide the communication with the computer.

Thanks.

You are correct.  You will need a signed applet.
You'll also need to use JNI to access the underlying operating system.  Here is some information on JNI that will help:  http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-10-1998/jw-10-apptowin32.html
