IPhone Message "This message has no content"

Our compan y upgraded from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 and now my Iphone randomly displays messages which say "this message has no content" and when I look in Outlook, there is no message data there either. I have checked the Exchange logs and I do not see any errors related to my profile or OWA Acttive sync issues. Where should I look next

I used to see that message on my iphone from time to time. I would get it when I had larger messages that would get hung up when trying to download. The message showed that it was successfully sent on the server side, but essentially corrupted on the iPhone. I found it happened when I went down a particular street with a lot of wifi. Near as I can figure, switching from wifi to wifi and back to 3G caused a corruption of the message. The message was sent to my phone, but by the time it arrived I was no longer on that wifi.

The workaround was to simply reload the message by pressing the reload button. I found that, by turning wifi off, the problem was resolved, even going down that same street (Wilshire Blvd, in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills). Once I stopped going down that street (changed jobs), the problem went away.

Your case may be different in that it's an Exchange account (mine was ISP).

Are there any settings on the iPhone to delete messages from the server once read (or deleted)?
