What is the best method in uploading mobile applications in AppStore?

Dear EE experts,

We would like to ask what is the best method on uploading mobile applications in AppStore, like for example, we have created a web application that when you view it using Safari browser, you can open it and use the application. But what we want is, we would want to have that application be available in Appstore first, then later in Android market...

But we heard that we must use Apple's XCode program first before we can upload it to the appstore. That's the problem, we don't know how to use that program, is there any way on how to upload any applications that will not use apple's xcode?

Thank you & hope to hear soon...

You can only submit applications to the appstore which are native. Native means coded in C which is the language apple uses for iphone and mac os apps. There are some converters around which convert your html into C and then you'll be able to upload the app to the appstroe. You will need an apple developer account, too, which is about a 100 bucks a year.

Hi there mcnute, thank you for your response...

Apple developer account and 100 bucks per year is fine, but the thing is, how can we upload the app to the appstore if like for example we converted our html site into C already, how can we upload it? Do we need to have an xcode program or no need?
