Hi,

I need a snipped for importing an excel (2013) spreadsheet into a datatable, and I also need to make sure it's closed afterwards so I can edit it.

vb.net (vs2012)

Thanks

Have you used ADO to get data from a database?  If so, getting data from an Excel workbook will be similar.
You can specify a connection string to point to a workbook, just like you would point to an RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or Access).
