Visual Studio 2012

When I create a SQL Server Database Project in Visual Studio 2012 and then try to create a Data Generation Plan I am not seeing it in the in the Categories pane after I click to Add New Item.

It looks to me that MS do not offer Data Generation Plan as part of VS2012, even Ultimate.
In http:#a39217525 I posted a link to msdn - if you go there and click around on the index on the left of the screen you can get to VS2012 documentation. You can see what is available there.

Can you click Add new Project? (I'm still on VS2008). Or are you saying it's not in the list of project types?
If you are sure it should be there, maybe it needs to be installed.

Or is a Plan not itself a project? - never used one myself.

I can add new projects in Visual Studio 2012 but it's not in the list of project types?

How can I install it separately? If that is possible?

At least at VS2010, you needed to have Visual Studio Premium or Visual Studio Ultimate ((Visual Studio 2010 Professional isn't enough (!)).
The msdn page doesn't offer documentation for VS2012 at this time.
I guess that's your problem.
(Digging around the msdn site starting from the link above, I can see VS2010 Data Generation Plans are part of Unit Tests. VS2012 Unit Tests simply doesn't mention them).
