is outlook junk mail the same as exchange filter options

Hi, does the outlook junk mail filtering options have any effect on exchange spam filtering options? ie, if a user says block from this domain, does exchange pick up on that?

i assume it doesnt, but and if that is so is there a way to activate it so they work together

Exchange uses the Outlook blocked lists and places them in the Junk folder on the server. Exchange settings are not affected so the Anti SPAM options work separately.

mrbayIt there are no other links between Exchange and Outlook. The junk mail options in Outlook affect Exchange, but only on a per-user basis.
