Dear Experts,

I look for a good tool to monitor the seo-improvements of our websites, currently I use the google tools like webmaster and analytics. However we also currently look for other tools that maybe fit our needs better/ are easier to use. Do you have any suggestions which tool to use?

Any help is much appreciated!

Those are really the best tools plus adsense although that is more of an seo research tool.  To measure success you want to use your analytics.   Before using another tool, figure out what the ROI is for doing what you are doing or spending $1000 per month on 3rd party tools.  If your getting 1,000 visitors per month, probably not.  If you are getting 50,000 visitors per month, it may start to make sense.  50,000 visits per month is a lot for a small local site (5,000 is even a good amount) but for the types of sites that are really getting use out of 3rd party tools, spending the additional $$ is nothing.

This is a good article on the subject http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo/measuring-and-tracking-success

And one of the paid tools
