We are trying to run veeam backups over a WAN connection. The bacup repository has all been set up with no problems and I can connect to the remote server using the admins share and via a RDP session.
Veeam can see the remote box and has installed the 2 services it needs. However, when we try and run the backups they fail with the remote call procedure failed Function Name DoRPCWithBinary.
Does anyone have an ideas why this is failing?

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.
