How do I make a box below these four boxes?

I have a site here:

http://haskris.com/site/

and I am trying to put a box under the four boxes.  It should span the four boxes.  However, when I set it up it creates a purple box that overlaps the four boxes.

I've attached a screen shot showing what I want to do.

Any help is appreciated.

Under which 4 boxes? The images, or the text (e.g. About, Products, Support, Applications)?

Please look at the site.  Then look at the screen shot of what I want it to look like.

ok, I figured it out. I had to make another container around it and then clear it. Thanks for looking.
