SBS 2011 Premium Migration

I'm running SBS 2008 premium and just purchased SBS 2011+ Premium + CALS. I see info on migrating from SBS 2008 standard, but nothing on premium. Can I migrate the SBS box and leave the 2008 premium server alone or will it "time out" when I turn the 2008 box off?
Thanks,
LH

The "Premium" side of migration is really just the SQL server.  You should be fine NOT migrating the SQL instance until you're ready.  Only the SBS 2008 system must be migrated to 2011 if you're doing a migration.

Thanks, I had read somewhere that 2008 premium wouldn't run if you shutoff the SBS 2008 DC. Didn't want to not plan it and then have the SQL LOB applications go down.

Only the SBS server itself need be worried about in your case.
