Thanks for the articles - I appreciate what they are saying however corruption doesn't appear to be an issue here it appears to be a file permission problem. &nbsp;The user has full access to the files and they do not work - on a hunch I gave the user admin rights and now the files open fine. &nbsp;There is no error when it tries to open the files they just don't display.

When I try to open photoshop for a file that is stored on a network drive by double clicking on the folder - photshop opens but the screen is grey the image doesn't show.<br />

If i take the same file and put it on my local drive it opens fine.
