How do you reduce the CPU memory usage on a json call to YouTube

Hi,

I have some code that goes out and retrieves a youtube channel and displays it on the page.

It works fine however, each time that the page refreshes the cpu memory usage increases by 500k.

Is there a way to reduce ( or eliminate) the increase in memory usage.

I have attached my code

Thanks!

There are a lot of videos on that page. The browser will be downloading and caching the videos. Once all the videos have finished downloading and playing do you still see the increase in memory usage when you refresh the page.
The answer to this is really to cut down the number of videos you have on any one page

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah- agreed, however the "powers that be" would like the videos all on one page.

Once the videos have finished downloading the page will increase in memory usage each time you refresh the page.  Internet Explorer seems to be using more memory usage than Fire Fox

Are you noticing this on more than one computer?

I've opened and refreshed your page several times and i'm not getting any increase in memory usage.  Is the site public to view, ie can you post a link to the actual offending site?

I would check that you have the latest flash plugins installed for both IE (ActiveX) and Firefox as youtube relies on that.

Also check that your versions of IE and Firefox are up to date.
