VMs windows w2k8 iso boot

dear gurus

i hve forget standline w2k8 r2 sp1 forget password, this machine is on vmware.'

now say i m trying to book from my pc win7 .iso, direct cd/dvd, also .iso inside the datastore

all of them are not sucessfull

see when boot power on machine virtual, it goes to window directly. and cd dvd iso any where does not read at all

it is reading only harddisk virtual direclty

any place to set boot order of VMs or any other laternative way to sucess.

as until i dont book cd dvd somehow i cant reset window forgotten password

your suggest or guideline step by step highly appreciate gurus

1. Is the Windows 7 CD/DVD a bootable CDROM?

2. You need to set the VM BIOS to BOOT from the CDROM.

3. When the VM is starting Enter the BIOS Setup, and select BOOT order, change to CDROM first.

4. Also make sure the CDROM in the VM Settings is set to Connected and Connected at Power On.
