A network error occured while attempting to read from the file.

User trying to download and install programs on her computer getting that error in the title.
A network error occured while attempting to read from the file.
C:\Users\username\downloads\filename.msi
This is for IE9.  Trusted sited configured correctly, cache cleared.   Windows Lenovo laptop.

What else could be an issue?

Have they tried downloading again and comparing the two downloads. It may be a bad download.

Is the file downloaded compatible with the operating system they have. That may be the error.

What is the operating system and what is filename?
