outlook 2013 task - send to OneNote doesn't push task details

Office 2013

When I choose the "Send to OneNote" for a task created in Outlook, only the task summary (task "subject") goes to the OneNote page, not the "body" of the task.

I'm wondering if it's possible to include the task details in the OneNote page as well.

Example:
Task subject: upgrade server
Task body: longer, more detailed list of items...

Send to OneNote:
[ ] upgrade server

Thanks.

I looked at my own install and basically it does the same thing and a review of all available options doesn't indicate this behavior can be changed. A google search seems to indicate you should be happy it's working at all as numerous users are having issues with it. I'm not impressed with the way this works as right clicking on the task flag (in onenote) sometimes brings up the open task in outlook (or change the flag or mark as complete) and sometimes the menu items are grayed out and a "item can not be found in outlook" message

printing the task to onenote  does include all the information you want but does not establish a link between the outlook task and the one note item.

My suggestion if this capability is important to you would be macro that sends the task to onenote and then prints the task on the same page.

Your experience seems to mirror mine - I see the "item cannot be found in Outlook" frequently.

Sigh...It's been 3 full versions at least...you'd think the "integration" components would be ironed out by now.  It is, after all, one of the marketing bullets of the Office Suite in general.

I can't find any code either, which can "send" a Task or Mail item from Outlook to OneNote.

(the reason behind this is to use Outlook as the "hub" between our Inventory/Invoice software and OneNote - the Inventory software can send emails with Service tasks and details, which would be nice to pass through Outlook and right to OneNote for our detailed note-taking on these assigned tasks).

Not the "desired" answer, but the correct answer.
