Hi there,

We're having Sonicwall NSA 3500 firewall in our system. everything is fine except one user for login. Trying to login in that particular username and password immediately logout the session. but other username, login success on the same computer and can start browsing the internet. Could someone tell me why one user among almost 150 users cannot log in properly? after login, immediately it goes to logout page.

thanks in advance.

Was the user setup on the Sonciwall, and are they using the correct password. If the user is there I would try resetting the password.

Can she login on the network (not Sonicwall) with her username and password?

Any chance the password expired?

Are you using SSO? If so have the user login to the network first, then try internet access.

This is due to expired authentication password from LDAP. It happens when users don't shutdown or logoff for quite sometime and he/she still logged on the computer. when logging in to the firewall authentication for internet access, it will automatically logout. You cannot find out the error message unless you shutdown or logged off from computer or log to firewall with admin privilege and check on the users authentication in the Test Tab.
