sync outlook w/ hosted exchange

I have a client that heavily uses outlook for contacts and e-mail and calendaring.  She uses comcast.net e-mail.  She wants to sync this to a laptop and a 2nd desktop.  The 2nd desktop is at the weekend summer home.  How do we do this...  I can use sync software...  Would hosted exchange work?   I kind of remember even using exchange that there was a .pst local the computer that did not "live" on the server, so I guess it wouldn't sync.

Thanks,

Your best bet is to use hosted Exchange and let it handle the sync'ing across all devices for you.  The problem is the domain - if she HAS to keep Comcast, you're somewhat stuck.  You can do forwards and redirects, etc., but that's poor in my opinion.  Get her setup with a cheap .COM that she'll like to use forever and put it on Office 365 or similar.

Sync'ing a PST file around is only going to cause problems.  Plus then she can use her Activesync phone and now everything is in sync.
