I have data in sheet 13 cell a1 (see below).  I need to extract the time out of this data, which is 031752Z which is 03 is the 3rd day and 1752 is 1752 UTC time.  I am trying to take the hour which would be 17 and add 1 hour to it to get 18.  Then place that value in sheet 14 cell a1.

A1:
KOKC 031752Z 16009KT 10SM OVC250 24/15 A2996 RMK AO2 SLP134 T02440150 10244 20139 58011 $

You just want the hour or the day as well? If it's the hour and the format is always consistent then try this formula for the hour - inserted in sheet14 cell A1

=MOD(MID(Sheet13!A1,8,2)+1,24)

If the format is not consistent then can you show more example?
